The mandate of Advanced Technology Assessment is to help identify, test, evaluate, acquire, implement, and optimize newly emerging technologies as shared resources in core facilities. This effort includes elements of quality assessment, research and development for all the core facilities. The goal is collaborative testing of new technologies with each facility or with multiple facilities, as appropriate for the emerging technology under evaluation.
This program includes the organization of the Cornell University Life Sciences Advanced Technology Seminar series.
Cornell faculty who want to discuss emerging technologies that might be useful as a core facility shared research resource, and manufacturers of emerging technologies who want to bring their products to the attention of Cornell faculty, please contact us.
